CURIOSITY SERIES. The effect of hair on intelligence

Does the amount of hair affect a person's intelligence? An American psychologist took up this question and claimed that the amount of body hair affects intelligence. The more of it, the smarter you are. This is a weird one, for sure, but the individuals behind this sentiment gave their reasons. Back in 1996, Dr. Aikarakudy Alias stated that chest hair is more common among doctors and highly educated people. He conducted various surveys and experiments to come up with conclusions. He said that the effect was more evident in men and that even though the men with abundance of body hair were perceived to be more intelligent, there were men with a lack of body hair that were still intelligent. He then went on to clear the air by affirming that the ideology of more body hair being associated with intelligence had very little to be proved as correct.

It still remains a fact that more hair on an individual's body isnt related to intelligence but rather a genetic variation. You still would'nt be shocked to find some immensely haired intelligent individuals but there intelligence surely isnt related to the amount of hair on their body. Though in many places and societies around the world individuals with alot of body hair are often treated with more pride and may at times be considered an attribute of beauty, it should'nt be anything but beliefs and personal views of choice.💭
